Park Passes will not be ready to be picked up at the Parks and Recreation Office until late December.
In order to gain access to Pier Park, all residents must submit a Park Pass Application. All Park Passes are valid from January 1st - December 31st. Park Pass Applications are processed within two weeks, once processed residents must come to Pier Park in person to pick up their Park Passes. All residents 18 and older must show ID, wives may pick up husbands and vice versa. Park Passes must be presented at each entry into Pier Park.
Dog Park Passes - Dog Park Pass Application (PDF)
The Dog Park is available to residents of Grosse Pointe Farms on a permit basis. Residents must apply for a pass to be able to gain access to the dog park.
Caregiver Parks Passes are meant to be used for a Caregiver that may potentially bring children to visit Pier Park. Caregiver's may only gain access into Pier Park when working and with the resident for whom they are giving care. Caregiver Park Pass Applications may take up to two weeks to process. Once processed, the Pass will be mailed to the Resident's address.
Temporary Non-Resident Park Passes
Temporary Non-Resident Park Passes are meant for household guests that reside outside of Wayne, Macomb and Oakland Counties. For instance, if a Grosse Pointe Farms resident has a family member visiting from Chicago and staying for a week, the resident may apply for a Temporary Non-Resident Park Pass for that family member. Temporary Non-Resident Park Pass Applications may take up to two weeks to process. Once processed, the Pass will be mailed to the Resident's address.
