Grosse Pointe Farms Parks and Recreation Department is committed to provide you and your family with enjoyable experiences through a wide range of programs such as Youth Swim and Tennis Lessons, Adult Tennis Lessons,  Aerobic Classes, Lap Swimming, Water Aerobics, Arts and Crafts, Swim Team, Synchronized Swimming, Youth Paddle Tennis Lessons, Stand Up Paddleboard Lessons, SUP Yoga, great special events, and quality park facilities. Our goal is to provide the highest level of service to our residents.

We are always looking for High School students and Adult Volunteers for our Special Events such as the Autumn Harvest, Easter Egg Hunt, Ice Cream Social and Winterfest on The Hill. Pier Park, located at 350 Lakeshore Rd., is a year round facility which offers many activities for Grosse Pointe Farms families. The facilities include; a Beach, Large Pool, Wading Pool, Splash Playground, Large Playscape, Tot Playscape, 3 Tennis Courts, 2 Sand Volleyball Courts, 3 Shuffle Board Courts, 2 Paddle Tennis Courts, a Refrigerated Ice Rink, 333 Slip Harbor, and a Community Building with Rentable Space.

In addition to Pier Park, the Parks and Recreation Department maintains Kerby Field which includes; 3 Baseball Diamonds, a Roller Hockey Rink / Ice Rink (during winter months) and a Dog Park.
